No idea here at the moment. Is this something they have to do regularly?

    Hi Michael,
The problem seems random and affects all the posts using the custom post type created with the plugin.

How does CPT UI deal with the permalinks in .htaccess?
Does it check if they are changed?

Just trying to figure out what’s going on.

We don’t do anything related to the htaccess file. Ultimately all we do is fetch saved settings full of arguments for the post types/taxonomies saved and loop over them to register them at the init hook.

I try to do a programmatic rewrite rules flush when anything is saved/updated and I believe on deactivation, but I’ve never seen great indication that that handles that accurately. Shouldn’t be something that’s running constantly by any means.

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for the details.
Anything you suggest us to check?

I’m honestly at a loss here for why it’s happening. First time I’ve ever seen this.

As deflecting of blame as it may sound, I have to wonder if it’s a server level configuration issue.
