Random 404

    Hello ,

    It seems that we have the same problem on two different websites. It’s throwing Random 404 error on every page (bar the homepage). Purging the error in the toolbox helps fix the 404 error , but its absolutely random when it happens and how long it takes before it gets resolved.

    by 404 as you mean the entire page ends up in 404 error ?

    what does the 404 look like ?

    All internal pages gives a 404 error. The homepage stays accessible.

    and the error happens randomly on all internal pages, but not the homepage

    if you flush perma link , does it start to work again ?

    After the permalinks are reset, it works.
    But we have more than 15 websites hosted and the issue is only with two of them.

    How could we solve this issue? We sent a report number:?WJKNPHOL and a screenshot of the error. Do you need more information?

    frankly speaking , I have no idea , it’s more like something wrong from wordpress itself, not related to a cache plugin

    you can find quite some post about this issue in Internet, it happens on all kind of platforms , with or without cache plugin

    and all the guides I have found are suggesting flush the permalink

    I guess the important part for you is if flush can permanently fix it or not.
