• They only allow you 100 conversions. You pretty much run out of that with just a few posts. I have 3 posts, only 29 images & 12 pages! This plugin generates a plethora of thumbnails that are not really needed including thumbs that show in your admin dashboard. It’s bloated and is unacceptable.

    Hi @lenkaiser,

First of all, we are sorry you are disappointed with our plugin, but as I will explain you don’t need to be ??

    • We don’t allow 100 “conversions”. What you get with a free account is 100 credits. This is written many times on our plugin page, the FAQ and our knowledge base
    • Our plugin does not generate any thumbnail. In fact, our plugin can only exclude thumbnails from optimization.
    • Thumbnails are generated by your theme or by WordPress, not by ShortPixel. This is well documented all over internet, as well as again in the FAQ and our knowledge base
    • It is normal that you can optimize 29 images with a free plan. This means that each image has 3-4 thumbnails.
    • Our plugin is not bloated at all. In fact, we don’t add any unnecessary features and try to keep it as light as possible.
    • You can always purchase new credits for a very affordable price from our website. We wrote it on our plugin page too ??

    Have a good day!
