    Hi,

I am looking for a solution to sort multiple tickets with ticket numbers in one transaction.

Example: Customer wants to purchase 5 tickets to win a watch, he is brought through woocommerce check out where he is then upsold further tickets. He has now 8 tickets within the one order/checkout.

    Question.
    1. Can this plugin split the 8 tickets into individual order/ticket numbers?
    2. Can we set the ticket/order numbers ourselves?
    3. Will each order/ticket number be sent to customer in order confirmation?
    4. Lets say we have 800 tickets in stock will this plugin discount tickets from stock?

Sorry for the long post. I need to rectify this asap as the plugin I currently have is taking a lifetime to process orders.

    Many thanks

  • Thanks Mr. Adil, Please let me check with the same settings

Dear Mr. Adil, Please try by unchecking the original order removal checkbox on the settings page. There is a little conflict with this checkbox with default mode. Your feedback is already sent. The new version with these fixes will be uploaded soon. Please check with these settings and let me now about updated status.

    Thank You very much.

@adilfarooq and @pmtray please try the latest version 3.0.1 with these improvements. Thank you @abdulrazzaq4085 for joining us in troubleshooting process.

Indeed, I see you tried to fix this but seems like the issue is still there. Have a look at the screenshot.

    https://prntscr.com/rtl8gl

It does create two orders but the problem is the same instead of showing each one of the cart items separately in child orders, it’s showing both products and totals are also displaying the whole order price.

@adilfarooq please send me the URL of your website and specifically both products URL. Because split action is expecting two different products, in screenshot it seems the same product or maybe variable product with different variations? Kindly explain if i am not getting it.

See in the backend it creates two orders with full price instead of the splited price per item in cart: https://prntscr.com/rtle2k

PS. We are willing to purchase your Premium version but looking at the free version bugs we are not really sure if that works.

@adilfarooq we are talking about FREE version and basic features here. Don’t worry, our focus is Default settings, it should work as expected. Kindly provide the Product URLs.

P.S. It means, your test-case is different than mine. Please provide more details that which product should be added to cart and how can we regenerate the same error?

    Hi Fahad,

Thanks for checking. I can see that this worked now, I have unchecked the original order removal as per @abdulrazzaq4085 suggestion and it seems like this fixed the issue.
Let me do some other test cases and then will opt for the premium version.

One question though. Does it also split a woo-commerce product which we are selling via an upsell plugin? or if we purchase the premium version it will split the quantity of an upsell product as well?

    Thanks

    (@fahadmahmood)

I would not recommend you the PREMIUM version. Please don’t go for that. Basic feature of this plugin is splitting, which is working fine for you. Other split methods aren’t required in your case.

Anyways, @adilfarooq , another checkout is here, with same product and same qty twice.

    Screenshot before order:
    https://nimb.ws/K9ZJkb

    Screenshot after order:
    https://nimb.ws/ODtVqz

Problem found in your Shopping Cart setup:

    Default WooCommerce Behavior:
When we add a product/variation again so it increases the qty. in number. In your example, sample product variation added twice with 6 qty. In default WooCommerce setup, it should be qty. 12.

But in your case, it is being added twice as qty. 6 and qty. 6. Our plugin compare the variation ID and product ID. When everything is same, even qty. is the same, what to split and what to keep? So you need to check your WooCommerce setup that why same variation and qty. isn’t increasing the number in cart? You might will get the clue.

Thank you @abdulrazzaq4085 for helping me here, kindly endorse me if you find the same issue on your end and help @adilfarooq.

Thanks, Fahad for pointing out this. The issue here is that I do not need the basic feature because we only have a single product at a time and these two products, I added just to test the split feature.

What I actually need is a quantity-based split method. Someone visits the website, selects quantity and places an order. it splits that order into multiple orders so we can add unique entry values for each ticket purchased to keep track of the winning entry.

Let me know what you recommend.

    (@fahadmahmood)

I will still not recommend you this plugin’s premium version because your website is yet under development. This plugin works well for those websites which are already running and they are aware of the ordered items, collected information and expected outcomes. In your case, you might will get in trouble again with something new as orders will start occurring.

    Replying to your question:

Does it also split a woo-commerce product which we are selling via an upsell plugin? or if we purchase the premium version it will split the quantity of an upsell product as well?

This plugin splits the items into child orders, doesn’t matter if you are using upsell plugin or not. It will deal with the final placed order, if upsell plugin will update the existing order which has been splitted already, then outcomes can be different. As we neither tested this case nor claimed this kind of compatibility yet.

    Thank you
