radio field with “other” option

hi,
i have multiple radio fields that require the “other” option. i have been able to use conditional logic and show a text field when the user selects “other” option. however the issue that i am facing with this method is that the fields are different (example radio field is id17 then selecting the “other” option data would be in field id18.) this becomes difficult when i export the data into excel. is it possible to merge the “other” field into the radio field so that the data remains in one column when i export it to excel. the conditional logic method is giving me two columns in the excel export 1. radio field with data as “other” (incase “other” option has been selected, which is of no use to me) 2. other field (whose data i need incase “other” is selected in radio field).
