Radiant Theme Header Justification

My site uses the radiant theme, and I cannot seem to get my custom header to be the full width of the website, nor can I center it. It is left justified only, even when I click “center” when uploading the image.
I’m not a techie and do not really understand code unless I have step by step instructions.
Help!
