• Running latest WP and W3TC.

The plugin, when asked to create a container, defaults to creating the container in Dallas. RS Cloud Files has a Dallas and Chicago location now. Manually creating the container in Chicago in the RS control panel is fine, but it appears that the plugin only looks for the hostname in the Dallas DC, not Chicago.

I’ve used W3TC many times on other sites and have now tested this on 3 individual WP sites on two RS accounts.

Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem? Or tried it?

This is still an issue. Ran into it yet again and can reproduce it on demand. Has anyone else seen this issue? Is it a known issue that is being worked on?

I also ran into this problem. Chicago containers aren’t recognized by W3TC.

Frederick — if you happen to read this thread, there is some relevant info on this page:

Interesting. W3TC wouldn’t recognize a pre-created Dallas Cloud Files Container for me. When I attempted to let W3TC create a new container for me, it made a Chicago one.

Frederick any news on this issue? my sites are hosted in rackspace ord chicago and its not finding containers there only able to create them from the w3tc admin and they are created in dallas …it took 30seconds just to start uploading theme files …can you suggest a fix?
