R34ICS_FEED_BASICAUTH not working

Hi there, I have a calendar from an ics file that is protected by a username and password. I added the R34ICS_FEED_BASICAUTH in the wp-config file and everything was working great until about two months ago, and now it no longer authenticates. If I use an ics file without authentication, it works but if it requires authentication it shows nothing and tells me the ics is not a valid feed. Is there anything I can do to have the authentication work again? will the pro version better at this? Thanks so much.
