Quotes

  • Hi there!

    I am a newbie on the forum (and wordpress in general) and would like to know the best way to input/collect quotes on my site. I have the most up-to-date version of WP, 2011 theme and would like (if at all possible)the following functions to be considered:

    1. quotes need to be easily searchable (and stored) via category, tag
    2. quotes need to be input on a daily basis
    3. format of quotes emphasises “quote” buttons
    4. quotes needs to be mounted on a pic, ie for Pinterest.

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  • My suggestion is to make daily posts that contain the quotes in the desired format using the tag and category that you want to use.

    If you are looking for an automated way to do all that, it doesn’t exist unless you make a custom plugin.

    Thanks for that! I thought the same thing, but wasn’t sure if there was an alternative. Do you know how to make the quote more stylish – big quotes and all?
