Quotation marks in the exif field

Hello,
I’m developping a website for a photographer who send me about 400 pictures with legends in the exif. We tested it before with 5 pictures and, thanks to exifography, it was running like a charm, now with the 400 pack, I discover the photographer put quotation marks in the description of a big part of the pictures. That obviously, ruin the code. Any idea on how to deal with it?
