    Hello,

    I noticed that when using W3 Total Cache in “optimized” code, quotation marks in the source code disappear. Just one example:

    Original code examples:

    <meta property=”og:type” content=”website”>
    <div class=”row”>

    Version “optimized” by W3 Total Cache:

    <meta property=og:type content=website>
    <div class=row>

    This applies to the entire website. I am using the latest version of W3 Total Cache.

    Hello,

    The HTML is valid and this feature makes page load even smaller, so faster and better for mobile visitors. Not all quotes are removed as HTML requires quotes when there’s a space in the value.
    Are you experiencing any issues?

    @vmarko I seem to have issues with jQuery’s .val() method on a HTML hidden input with the quotation marks stripped.

    Need to investigate further, though.

    Well, some open graph checks fail because of missing quotation marks. Honestly, you can also exaggerate the optimization of HTML. Removing quotation marks is too much – at least it should be optional!

    Hello @dajanas,
    We are considering this for future releases.
    Thank you for your patience.
