Quizzes spinning eternally

I bought this plugin about two years ago and until yesterday was very happy. But since the latest update of WordPress, they are spinning and not even by recovering the site back to previous dates have I managed to get them working. I’ve written four emails to WordPress and have had no reply so far. What can be done?
