quizzes not working through Twitter

    Hi there,

    We’re having a weird problem with all of our quiz cat quizzes. The quizzes work fine on our actual website, but if someone tries to access them through Twitter on a mobile device the quiz won’t work. The page loads, and the button appears but when you press it nothing happens.

    I posted a link to our quizzes above.

    To see what I mean about it not loading, please access the tweet I linked to below on a mobile device and click the link. If you do it from a computer, it will work fine, but it won’t work on a mobile device in the Twitter app. It will work, though, if you cut and paste the link for the quiz into the actual web browser on a smartphone. The problem only happens when people try to access the quiz directly from the Twitter app but it presents a big problem because that’s how most people get to our site.

    Sorry to say we were not able to find a simple solution for this. AMP is simply too restrictive in what kinds of code it will allow for our quizzes to be able to run.

    The best suggestion, is what you are already doing. That is adding a link next to the quiz, that can redirect to a non AMP version of that page or don’t use AMP for pages containing quizzes.

    That way if you still have other content on the page, you can still take advantage of AMP.
