• We’re trying to add a Quicktime movie to our blog using convential HTML code, but the controller bar won’t show up. We’ve added the extra 16 pixels to the height of the movie, and have even tried inserting the “controller value” tag into the code, but it still won’t show up. However, it IS there, just completely invisible…

    Any suggestions?

Try Viper’s Video Quicktags, that’s what I use for my QuickTime movies. It’s very easy to use, but you do need to add the extra pixels for the controller with this too.

    VFAdmin,
Take a look at this thread and see if it helps with your isue.

    Thanks for the replies, guys.

I’ve tried many of the plugins out there, and now the suggestion by Buddha Trance, but still no luck. I *have* found, however, that other people are able to see the controller… Just not me.

If I click in approximately the right places, I can play the video, adjust its volume, etc, I just can’t see what I’m doing.

    So what’s going on?

Then it likely is a problem with your computer (browser, QuickTime version/plugin, firewall, ad-blocker, etc.).
