quicktag on a single page

  • Is there a way to have a template respect the <!–more–> quicktag outside the blogpage?
    On the (non-blog) frontpage I have a link to the websites blog, and as a ‘sneak-preview’ I want to publish the first part of the most recent blog on the frontpage. So that’s the part above <!–more–>.

    However for obvious reasons WordPress only respects the <!–more–> quicktag on a blogpage. So my question is, how do I ‘force’ WordPress to respect it outside the blog?
