Quickstart: Pages using wpdb building table list

  • Greetings!

    I just started using WordPress and love it – and will be an expert in no time – but I has a quick start question.

    I have a table of data I need to read (I believe with wpdb) and display as a Page (eg Restaurants).

    Would the PHP needed to read the data and generate the table be done with a Widget or Theme function?

    I appreciate the help.

    Also, it there a WP application to manage lists in Pages dynamically?
