QuickPrint doesn’t work due to Rest API

  • I’m trying to create an epub backup of my old blog (with 1000+ posts). However, I keep running into the Rest API / no json error. This happened even when I disabled all plugins except for Print My Blog, so I’m not sure what the problem is. Thanks for any help you can give me!
    (Incidentally, exporting worked just fine for two other blogs, so it can’t be my webhost.)

    Hi @shirasade, sorry to hear you’re having trouble.

    I see PMB works for a while and then the REST API returns an error message which is causing PMB to stop.
    It seems that when this post is loaded over the REST API, it gives an error, but you have your site setup to not display the error publicly (which is good for security but bad for debugging.) Here’s that page over the REST API (compared to this one, which is working).

    Is your admin user getting the error emails? If so, would you mind sharing the entire error message? If not, you could turn on WP_DEBUG temporarily while we’re debugging this issue.

    Does that make sense?
