QuickInstall and the wp-config-sample.php file

    I just installed WordPress in the root of my new HostGator acct. Now, I want to begin making it more secure. However, I can’t find the wp-config.php or wp-config-sample.php file!!!??? I used the “QuickInstall” which is like Fantastico so I don’t know which files I should have….I can’t find either one. I’ve dug through both the public_html > wp-admin, wp-content, and wp-includes folders and
    www > wp-admin, wp-content, and wp-includes folders. Can’t find it! Can someone please tell me the path?! Thanks.

    I finally found it…sometimes i’m my own worst enemy! For anyone with the same problem in the future, here is where it (wp-config-sample.php) is: using filezilla -in the remote site window just highlight public_html (do no open it) in the bottom right window you get a list of folders and files…it is about halfway down. And as I said previously, it is wp-config-sample.php.
