Quick status change links on forum topic list

Would it be possible to easily add text based links in the topic meta in a single forum list view that change the status?

For instance the post meta row would say something like

Started by: Daniel Iser – Update Status: Resolved, Non Support, Awaiting Fix.

When clicking one of those do the ajax request for that topic changing it.

@imath – In addition to it. The checkbox was for the new reply submission box similar to the forums here.

These quick links would appear for admins under/beside the topic title when viewing a forum in general.

So each topic in the list would have quick status change links without having to view each topic individually.

Forum View
Topic 1 – Mark ( Resolved, In Progress )
[Resolved] Topic 2 – Mark ( Unresolved, In Progress )

Etc.
