Quick question: how to turn off display of sidebars on this page?

    how can the sidebars be turned off for subpages to this site? such as for this page:

    https://factualfiction.com/lighthouse/writingprompts/

    thanks! (sorry it’s such a basic question…)

    Also, this is using a 2012 theme (although authored in the latest WP 4.0), is there an advantage to updating it to a 2014 or 2015 theme? how difficult would that be? (modifications are in a child folder)

  • no sure what you mean with ‘subpages’ ?

    for individual pages, try and use the page template ‘Full-width Page Template, No Sidebar‘ – under ‘page attributes’ when editing the page.

    is there an advantage to updating it to a 2014 or 2015 theme?

    this is not really an upgrade:
    2014 is a totally different theme – there would be a lot of adaptation necessary to integrate your customization.
