• Hi Jordy,

Thanks for the AMAZING plugins that you create and DOUBLE THANKS for offering a free version ?? I find it mind boggling how someone can spend so much time creating such amazing plugins and then give it away for free… but anyway- I use DIVI on my main site and I want to install 2 of your plugins (PRO versions) but I know DIVI can be a bit “funny” when it comes to using third party stuff so before I go ahead and purchase, I just want to make sure itll be ok (or rather, hear if there are any known issues).

    Thanks again

    Hi ??

That’s very nice of you! Thank you ?? I worked on free plugins for years, because I have time and because I am also a geek and a user of my own plugins (I use all of them – which is one of the reasons why I am working hard on those). And for 3 years, I have been added wanted features (so the ones I develop for users, not for me) in the Pro versions, and it’s a win-win as it helps me maintain the Free versions as well.

About DIVI, I am using it on one of my websites, and the plugin is tested with it. However, it can be used in so many ways that I think there could be potential issues. If you encounter any, please contact me ??

… and thanks a lot for the review!

Wow thanks for the quick response, I was actually expecting to wait at least a day or 2 so big thumbs up for that ??
Im a bit of a newbie (pretty fluint in my movements around wordpress and DIVI but NOTHING when it comes to backend coding stuff) so I have done a full backup using Updraft and I will install your plugin after your next reply… My question: Will me doing a full backup keep me safe from tragedy? hehe. What I mean is, lets say that by some chance (im sure itll be smooth as it has been on other themes that I have used) it breaks the site- im safe because I have a full backup…right? Apologies for the simple question but Im terribly nervous as I am finally (after 4 years of self taught everything) happy with my site and I would be devastated if it “broke” ??
I know you cant guarantee anything and I would never hold you accountable but just wanted to ask, before I install ??

To be honest, the safest way to do this is to have a production environment and a staging environment. When you install new plugins or start a big cleaning process, it’s better to copy the production environment to a staging environment, apply everything on the staging, and when everything is perfectly fine, switch that environment to production. This is the way to do it ??

You can use a backup plugin, but you need to make sure that it actually works.

You can also do the cleaning slowly, start the scan, analyze the results, delete the files by little batch and test your website.
