Quick question about the autosaving revision display

  • On the revision list at the bottom of the post page, it shows my username even though I haven’t edited the post before… This happens when another writer makes a post.

    I know for a fact I’m not editing the posts during the timeframe or even logged on. I’ve installed the plugin log user access to check and it doesn’t show me logged in at that time as well.

    Is it just automatic or what? Thanks

  • WordPress saves a copy of the post being edited every x minutes.

    i know but i’m not editing post at specific time.

    for example: a writer on my blog writes a post on dec 27 at 4PM. It’ll show my name on the edit at a specific time even though i did not read or edit it.
