Quick Jetpack Functionality Question
-
@jeherve Jeremy, I have a really quick Jetpack functionality question. When you manually post a blog and Jetpack then sends that out successfully to the subscribers and to the social media, if by some chance after that the status of that blog is changed back to scheduled (I did it accidentally when reviewing some of my other future blogs), and then changed back again to published, I’m assuming that Jetpack/Wordpress is smart enough to know not to resend out the blog back to the social media or to the subscribers. That basically there’s some sort of a counter or flag that’s set once it’s published the first time to prevent this? I only ask this because I did this earlier with a blog and everything went out fine on the first time thankfully and when I corrected my error of changing it back from scheduled to published, it thankfully did not go out to the subscribers or the social media again. Is that by default and working correctly with Jetpack? And did that action of changing it from published to scheduled and back to published going to screw anything up with any of my future publishes and Jetpack’s publicize?
Thanks for your answers on this Jermey when you send them.
Andrew
