Quick helps w/Category Page plugin

Hey guys, I’m new to the forums, forgive me for any faux pas.

I’m trying to do a simple tweak, a tiny bit of PHP editing on the archive.php file in the theme “The Content Blue”, which I’m using (highly modified) for this site.

The tweak required is to allow the plugin Category Page to work correctly. Info and the how-to doc that I’m trying to follow to accomplish all this is right here.

Can anybody verify that this plugin DOES or DOES NOT work w/my version of WP? If it can work, can somebody help me make this very simple edit to the archive.php file? I don’t know any PHP, and the example given in the How-to doesn’t match up with the The Content Blue file.

For somebody who knows what they’re doing, this might take all of 30 seconds, and it would help me out a lot. Thanks guys!
