    When I enable ESI and set the recent view widget to ESI block with private cache. What value is best. I see it automatically has 0 and that means that recently view widget wont be cahce… If I was to add a value, will caching recently viewed widget cause the widget not to update when customers view products?

    that’s correct , if your widget needs to be real-time updated , you will need to make it 0
