• I have the latest version of SportsPress installed, 2.2.6. When using the quick edit feature, I select the edits necessary and clicking Update makes the changes I wanted, however, it also is removing the team associated with the player.

The only way around this is to manually open each player and edit the player, thus defeating the purpose of quick edit. Is there anyway this can be addressed and patched immediately? I find this as a crucial bug and one that will affect many.

@trauma717 @gator8 Thanks for your feedback regarding this issue. We’ve just released version 2.2.7, which includes a patch that fixes the empty team checkboxes bug on the quick edit player screen.

It’s not completely fixed Brian. If I use a non-filtered player list, this fix works. BUT, if I filter on a team and then quick edit a player on that team, it still happens.

If I search for a player, it also works fine. It looks like it is just the filter.

I can confirm this update did not fix the issue. I filter to a team and quick edit the player and upon doing so, the team is removed still. This “feature” would be ideal to bulk remove settings from teams for ex, change multiple players to a different division/league while removing their previous one. This idea has been submitted with many likes and interest, so I am hopeful it gets implemented in the future.

However in this case, it would be nice to have this issue resolved.

@brianmiyaji @rochesterj this bug has not been resolved since the “patch” was released three weeks ago.. any updates at all to get this resolved? This is still occurring and defeats the purpose of the new “quick edit”implementation feature that still does not function properly… anything new or must we still manually edit all players one by one since a quick remove option is not available?
