• I’ve just began writing a few blog posts to populate my new Google News Sitemap, however Quic Cloud is having none of it.

I’m getting THIS when trying to upload images.

I’ve complained about Quic Cloud to my hosting company before, who say that they cannot do anything as the DNS has been changed over to Quic Cloud’s DNS.

It looks like LSC has found something else to prevent image uploading.

Can someone give the Quic Cloud server a good kick, please?

520 error usually indicates the CDN node was unable to connect to your origin server for whatever reason

please create a ticket in QC support channel , our CDN staff will check with you.

    Hi @qtwrk

Thanks for the reply, however, do I really need Quic Cloud for image optimisation now?

I’m using either the ‘Basic’ or ‘Advanced’ preset in LSC at present, and also, I’m using Shortpixel to optimize my images as LSC cannot be trusted to optimise them into either .webp or avif files correctly.

The only thing that I’m using Quic Cloud therefore, is for it’s CDN, but if that keeps giving out 520 errors, would it be better to just remove my doman key and kick it out?

I’ve contacted the QC support channel by the way and pointed them to this forum thread.

if you have other plugin that is doing image optm , then it is better not to use multiple plugins to do image optm again.

if just to disbale CDN, you can simply click “bypass CDN”.

the CDN issue should be processed within QC support channel , not in a public forum as some private or sensitive information (such as domain , origin IP …etc) would be discussed.

some user may not be confortable for such info being brought up in public forum.

    Hi @qtwrk

As per the instructions given out by Shortpixel. I’ve turned all of the image optimization options in LSC to ‘off’, so no images are currently running through LSC.

It’s just this CDN issue that seems to be giving problems – how long does it take the QC support team to reply, Seeing as in the QC blurbs, the CDN is Quic Cloud’s flagship service (god help anything that is not a flagship service)

Also, where is the option to ‘bypass CDN’?

do you have a ticket number ? I will try to push it a bit

    it’s in https://my.quic.cloud -> your domain -> cdn -> bypass CDN

    Hi @qtwrk

Sorry, no – it looks like ticket numbers are not amongst the flagship services of Quic Cloud.

    hi @qtwrk

Yes, that’s the page I went to, and I clicked onto the ‘Technical Support’ option.

I’ve also bypassed the CDN for now.
