    Hi there,

I have some very specific functions in mind for this plugin so I’d like to have a few things clarified before purchasing the plugin if possible:

I want to build a stock photo site that lets a selected group of contributors sign in, add their photos as products, and get paid royalty if their photos are sold.

    1) Would it be able to limit their uploaded image (for product download) to a specific size?

    2) I took a look at the report section in the demo backend but can’t seem to figure out if I will get a breakdown of all the transactions. I need a way to easily figure out what each contributor sold so I can pay them royalties.

    3) It seems that when contributors post a product it goes up to the site immediately. Is there a way for me to “approve” them before the products become published?

Thank you very much for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.

  • Hello @darwingallery,

First of all the short requirement, you shared with us: “I want to build a stock photo site that lets a selected group of contributors sign in, add their photos as products, and get paid royalty if their photos are sold.” – this purpose can be fulfilled by using the Dokan plugin rather than WPUF.

    1) Yes with WPUF, admin can limit the number and size of the images that the users can upload in form.

    2) Selling is not a primary purpose of WPUF plugin and as you mentioned and sending royalty to the owner of the image will be unavailable from WPUF.

    3) WPUF allows users to submit posts/products through forms. Yes, users can be approved after they register into the site before they start adding photos in your site.

Apart from the first requirement, when users want to upload images for a specific size, all the requirements are perfect for using Dokan. It will allow your vendors to add downloadable image files, and then customers can purchase those images. Upon each sale, the vendors will receive a commission. Also, you can approve their selling ability in your site and only then, they can start adding their photos.

    Regards,
