Questions regarding cloud mode

Please find our responses as below;

1. The cloud crawler will still check the URLs that are accessible to the public, so it will look at the front end of your website rather than directly accessing the database. This should help with the issue you mentioned regarding custom slugs being converted to correct URLs on the front end.
2. The cloud version of Broken Link Checker should provide you with an overview of the links contained on each URL. You should be able to export this information as well for further analysis or sharing with others.

3. Broken Link Checker is generally compatible with WPML and we don’t have any issues reported with the latest version.

2. I can only see an option for downloading broken links and the pages they are seen at. Is it possible to download a list of non-broken links?

I’m afraid, there isn’t any such setting at the moment. The Broken Link Checker scan can only help with listing out links which aren’t accessible or broken.

However, could we know the use case of getting the list of non-broken links, so that we could check with our developers on whether such a feature could be considered in future updates?

Thanks for your reply. And thank you for confirming that it is not possible to achieve this at the moment.

As mentioned, the site is using WPML for different language versions. I wanted to list all URL’s (and their origin) to see where there is linked from one language to another because this should be fixed manually so the linking is internal in the same language.

I am aware that this use case might be out of scope of your plugin. Instead, I am looking into standard web scraping techniques in order to achieve this.

However, it was nice to know, that the cloud method is analyzing the front end instead of the local method that is analyzing the links in the database.

This does not fit the purpose of BLC to collect all links from the site and allow to export of such a list, as the main goal to to report broken links. However, I pinged our BLC Team to review your query. We will post an update here as soon as more information is available.

If you are slightly familiar with the database tool on your site, you might find the links there.

There is a table with all links of the local BLC checker.

For the cloud version: both the Yoast as Rank Math SEO tools collect all links on a website.

Would need a join to get the related posts.

@brbrbr I want all links, not only those in the post content etc. But also links in menu structure, footer, widgets, related posts etc. If I succeed with the web scraper for links, I will turn back with a solution.
