Questions on featured image and post body
-
Hello!
I have been tweaking with the plugin all night. First of all, thank you for creating it. ??
Second, it works mostly — you can see it at beauhindman.com — but I have a few issues.
1) When I tweet a pic and it comes up as a featured image, the image is smaller than the original pic. It’s like it picked out a random cropping and posted that. You can see an example below.
The original tweet: https://twitter.com/Beau_Hindman/status/585280178353385473
…and the post it made: https://epicdolls.com/beauturkey/2015/04/06/from-twitter-this-is-what-we-like-to-call-a-test-httpt-cos5zku6gvfe/
I need that featured image to be the exact image from my tweet. Possible?
Also, if you look at my posts, they read like this:
“From Twitter: Hmm I might have it! I said might. < — posts title
Hmm I might have it! I said might.” <— inside the post.
For example: https://epicdolls.com/beauturkey/2015/04/06/from-twitter-hmm-i-might-have-it-i-said-might/
I want the post title to say “From Twitter: DATE” (the date being the current date of course.
And inside the post would be the content from the tweet.
What am I doing wrong or, I should say, what can I do correctly?
Thanks so much and thanks for any help and for creating such a fun tool!
(Now to figure out how to make it archive all of my old tweets!)
Beau
