Questions Import Issue

Yes I believe that’s the way it supposed to work – any imported questions / pots are created as new.

There isn’t an interface for importing questions to an existing pot.

Would a ‘copy questions to pot’ function be useful?
That way you could import the questions and then copy them over to the pot you need.

Also, I am not sure if you are planning to re-design UI to add new question to any pot. Currently adding any question requires first adding a question, then saving it and then adding Options one by one, so there is lot clicks (form submits for each option) before completing one question. It will be nice to have a single page where I get textbar to add question and by default 4 options to fill and select one as correct answer.

I hope you will not mind me giving suggestion?

Anyways i liked the plugin, but just looking for easier way to add question.

Hi and thanks again for the feedback.

I’ll mark this as resolved as its not actually a bug, but the way the import works.
However I will add the new feature of coping questions from one pot to another as that’s a great idea.

With regards to the UI change, we’re always open to suggestions.
We felt it was easiest to separate out the question and feedback with the response options, but I’ll run it by some of our other existing users at the university to see what they say.

When will I be able to see coping questions to pot option coming? I would really like to use that option to add new questions by importing data and then copying questions.

It should be quite quick, I’d imagine will be done by next week. I’ll send a follow up to this post when implemented.

This was quite straightforward – I’ve updated the plugin (v 1.4.4) which includes the new question copy function. Please let me know if you have any problems
