Questions before I buy version

  • We’ve had a couple questions arise before we purchase the Subscribe 2 version that will allow us to send out HTML emails.

    • Is it possible to omit subscription categories?
    • Is there a way to remove the “Do not send subscriptions for” section on the subscribe page?
    • Is there any further information on what the HTML emails will look like?

    I’m guessing we’ll have to do customization for 1 and 2 above but I wanted to check and see.

    1/ If you want to exclude categories you can do this in Subscribe2 -> Settings under the Registered Users tab in both free and paid version.

    2/ This can be hidden in the Screen Options tab at the top right of the screen on a content authoring page in both versions.

    3/ if you are using Subscribe2 in per-post mode you can add HTML to the template and preview the outcome in the free version. HTML emails can be sent to registered subscribers in the free version.
