    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    – Is there 30 day trial or refund policy on your annual video cdn plan?

All Jetpack Plan purchases can be canceled and refunded within 30 days of purchasing.

    – Do you think jetpack video cdn can really increase video on demand bufferings?

I’m not sure I understand. Did you mean decrease? Serving your videos from a CDN would definitely help loading your videos faster.

    – What is the difference between jetpack video cdn and maxcdn?

Jetpack Video isn’t just a CDN; it’s a full system, fully integrated to your WordPress dashboard. Once Jetpack’s Video is enabled, when you add a video through “Add Media” in your post editor, the video is uploaded to our servers, converted, optimized, and a custom video player like the one below is inserted into your post or page:

    https://videopress.com/v/knHSQ2fb

That player is not branded, is ad-free, and will play your videos regardless of the device you use to access it.

-Is there any discount for it?

There are currently no Jetpack Plan discounts.

-Can i easily implement jetpack video cdn with our existing videos?

To do so, you’d have to upload each video to our servers via the “Add Media” button in your post editor.

    – We upload videos into secure s2member-files folder is it supported by jetpack video cdn?
-Is there any storage option fpe videos on your servers?

No, that is not supported. All videos are uploaded to our servers and automatically processed and converted. There is no option to upload those videos to a specific folder.

If you’re currently using a different video solution to serve private videos to paying members on your site, Jetpack Video is most likely not the solution for you I’m afraid.

I hope this clarifies things a bit.

Why its not possible to automatically serve our existing and locally stored videos from jetpack video cdn like photon?
We can easily serve all of our images through photon servers by one click. Why not for video cdn?

Otherwise i have to ask does jetpack video cdn is really unlimited storage?

That’s not what the feature is designed to do I’m afraid. Jetpack Video isn’t just a CDN, it’s a full system, designed to convert and play videos. The files happen to be served from our CDN, but it’s not the only point of Jetpack Video.

The Photon service is similar. While it is an image CDN, it is also a lot more than that: it includes an API that we leverage in Jetpack to resize, optimize, customize images, so it can be used for a lot more than just serving images; it can build tiled gallery layouts, it can serve high-resolution images on Retina and HiDPi images, and more.

does jetpack video cdn is really unlimited storage?

That depends on the plan you choose. Jetpack Professional comes with unlimited video storage; Jetpack Premium, on other hand, is limited to 13GB.

So what do you suggest for me?
Moving the whole website into dedicated server or just go with Jetpack Video CDN?

The most important things are securing the video file url’s from exposing to public and the speed of video flow/buffering.

And I also care about prices. Managed dedicated servers are much expensive.

Since this is not an option in Jetpack Video, I would recommend against using our service.

Instead of hosting the videos yourself, you could check video hosting services like Vimeo; their Paid offerings allow you to make your videos private:
