• i am trying to extend my clients wp site to be able to generate printable pdfs to send to their print house for digital printing. mainly for tickets/badges/invitations, etc. i assume this plugin can handle that? i saw the invite demo and it looks like exactly what i want to do. just in multiple instances. watched your videos on configuring, looks easy enough. I also read that the viewer/user can upload images to the pdf?

we will be having existing templates for users to enter their own info over the top of a background image provided, but would like the ability for users to upload their own image for the background? is that possible with configuration? i did read somewhere that there is a way for the user to upload images, just not sure what for.

also, does this plugin allow for merchant services outside of paypal for payment before sending the print house the pdf? – as in, can it be configured for a private merchant service through a bank? are the other options?

can i send a proof, notification, of the pdf at a different size/resolution to the viewer/user (so the client can’t print the product themselves)?

can we have multiple forms for all the products? is there a limit?

lastly – is there a pro version and how much does it run? thanks!

    Hi,

I’ll do my best to answer all your questions. But first I’ll start by saying Gravity PDF is built on top of Gravity Forms and I recommend reviewing its features and capabilities.

    1. Users can upload images and they can be included in a PDF. You’ll want to give users an indication on the image size and DPI they should be using.

    2. Uploaded images can be used in the background. See point #1 for optimal results. Images not at the correct size will have display issues.

    3. Payment is handled through Gravity Forms. Their Developer edition supports PayPal, Stripe and Authorize.net, however there are third party payment gateways as well.

    4. You would need to create a second PDF template to use as a proof. You can either design this at a smaller size / resolution, or (the easier option) watermark it.

    5. You can have as many forms and PDFs as you want – you just need to design and configure them.

    6. There isn’t a pro version, but we do offer PDF Template integration services (so you don’t have to design and install the templates yourself). If you would like to discuss this option further please fill out our enquiry form.

Excellent! Thank you for such a quick response and all the information – looks like a winner! only 39 for gravity forms? wow, what a robust product for the price, thanks again! :))

    No problem.

If you want to use Gravity Forms payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal or Authorize.net) you’ll need to buy a developers license.

Cool – how much is it? is there also a license fee for 3rd party merchants?

The current price is $199USD. As I said, I recommend you review their website for details on the software – we don’t create, maintain or provide support for Gravity Forms.

Some developers release 3rd party plugins for free, others charge. It just depends.

Ok – I didn’t realize you were not connected – thanks again for all the quick info!
