Questions about the PRO version of the Plugin

hi, we’re going to be making some better form customization APIs and user interfaces too in the coming weeks.

you can already customize the form if you know php using template files and by intercepting the form booking and saving your own values and linking it with a booking ID. we have loads of hooks and filters that do this (and is in fact how we do it with Pro at the moment!)

it doesn’t include ajax for that sort of thing, but again EM is made in a way that you could do this in an upgrade safe manner. that said things like this would probably do well in our upcoming feature request section ??

Marcus, in the pro version is it possible to have a different value (varchar not int) for the spaces? I’d also like to be able to edit this at the event manager administrator level. For example, an option can be ‘party’ ‘group’, etc instead of a integer value and if a customer wants to edit their booking, I can change it at the admin level.

I am happy about your post, becaucse i wait since a few month of this form. I need more information about the availibility of this modification. I also would take the PRO Version and support your work.
I need this update in the next 2 weeks. Is it possible or do you need more than 4 weeks.

@ksaffy, I don’t think that’s really feasable the way you want it. However, maybe once form customizations are in you could mimick that behaviour somehow i’m sure (if you could give me a few weeks and give me a nudge). you’d want to do something that’d be upgrade-safe as you’d need to hack for what you want.

I’d hope that form customization is weeks away speedjbe, I’ve been delayed frankly because I’m in transition to this being a full-time job (and I had many private clients before so it’s a little messy).

however, things are clearing up fast so i hope this will happen sooner rather than later!

Thx for the update and the form ?? I know its a BETA, but if i use the placeholders, i cant see the form to add an event. I installed a new WP and only the EVENTS-MANAGER Plugin to see the form, but there is nothing. Is it possible that i must configure something to use it ???.

flo, is this a pro question? if not please make a new topic. not sure what you mean by beta, as booking form placeholders work and aren’t beta, you just need a future event with a valid ticket enabled

ah i see. you have to use shortcodes. it’s [event_form] currently that’s it. I’ll be adding more options over time.

this isn’t a pro feature tho, it’s on free, so please reference this in a new topic if you have more questions.
