Hi,

when I use Performance/Purge all Caches in WordPress Admin is then also the OMGF-cache with the previously downloaded Google fonts cleared.

And what about “Manage Cache” in OMGF? What is it for? When I clear the cache, does it mean that the previously downloaded Google fonts deleted?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards
Albert

I’m assuming this is a question? In that case, no ?? OMGF stores its downloaded fonts in the “uploads” folder on purpose.

You should only use the “Clear Cache Directory” button in OMGF, if you want to, exactly as it says, empty OMGF’s cache directory. An example: if you changed fonts in your theme, OMGF will automatically detect the new fonts and download them for you. It will not remove the old fonts. Which means, some clutter will remain OMGF’s cache directory. If this bothers you, or to clear up drive space, you an use the “Empty Cache Directory” button to make sure all clutter is removed. OMGF will then re-download the new fonts by itself.

I hope that clarifies things!
