    Hi there!

As a newcomer in the land of podcast making, I found “Seriously Simple Podcasting” and “Seriously Simple Stats” very useful and easy to use. Thanks for your hard work!

However, I have a few questions about it. Mainly the “Seriously Simple Stats” plugin. The questions have already been asked by others a couple of months ago in the support forum for the plugin, but it seems like the forum no longer gets any attention. As the project share one of the developers from “Seriously Simple Podcasting”, I hope it’s ok to post the questions here.

    1. What is the difference between “Total listens” and “Total listeners”? Is total listeners a unique number of listeners?
In my stats “Total listens” seem to stay about the double compared to “Total listeners”. If my assumption above is right, can it be any other reason to the high number of “Total listens” than that some of the listeners download/listens more than once?

    2. How are iTunes listens counted? If the documentation is right, it should be listed as a listening source. I know we have iTunes listeners (both through the desktop application and through iPhones using Podcaster), but it’s not showing up at all. Could it be counted into “Other”, or in worst case, not at all?

We’re looking into getting sponsors, so the stats is an important part of the project. I guess we could look into a commercial alternative, but “Seriously Simple Stats” feels plenty enough. As long as we understand the working, that is ??

Again, thanks for your excellent plugins!

Is it possible to chip in some coins for support? I’d really like to keep using this elegant podcast solution, but the statistics are important for our production.
