• Hello, everybody,

some questions about the statistics email you can send me.

    1. exact day of sending

Can I specify somewhere on which day of the week this email will be sent? It would be ideal, for example, if I could specify that this email be sent every Monday morning at 8:00 am.

    2. period of data in this eMail

It would be very good, if one could determine the statistic period in this eMail more exactly. If I send myself this email once a week, then I would also like to know the numbers of seven days. Where can I set that I automatically get the values of the last week (visitors & accesses).

    3. total statistics

There is the function that I get the total numbers of visitors & accesses in this email. However, it would be very interesting if you could also display the statistics for the current month. Example: eMail will be sent on 12.02. and 19.02., then I would like to know how many visitors and accesses there were in the month February. Is that possible?

    4. additional eMail at the end of the month

It would be ideal if I could get a separate eMail at the end of the month with the relevant statistics of the last month, e.g. eMail comes on 01.03. with the complete statistics for the month February as a review.

The figures for the values are available so far, so it should not be a problem to get an optimal report filtering here.

I look forward to your feedback; thank you very much.

    Greetings Tobias

    Has anybody an idea?

    Toibias,
I had posted a question on emailing of statistics a year ago and only got one reply, from someone with the same issue.

My issue is on formatting of the statistics in the sent email. I run 3 sites where I have the statics report emailed to me. I get two different styles of formatting even though the notifications tab is configured identically on all three sites. I get the today, yesterday and total visitor numbers which show up as below:

    Today’s Visitors: 19 Yesterday’s Visitors: 12 Total Visitors: 7650 End Report

    or

This is the statistics report from mynameispepe.com 2 5 5234

My preference is to have each number displayed on a separate line. So far I have seen little interest in people helping with this so if you can assist I would be very grateful. The documentation does not seem to address this.

    Thanks,
    Ron…

    Tobias,
Thank you so much!! I don’t have much experience with html yet if I could have looked past the tree I might have seen the forrest. Your solution is so evident i will be kicking myself doe a few more days.

I implemented this on all 4 of my sites and the results are exactly what I am looking for:

This should contain statistics from Site 1 either as a report or as an attachment
    Visitors online: 1
    Visitor today: 4
    Page views today: 5
    Visitors yesterday: 14
    Page views yesterday: 23
    Visitors total: 5433
    Page views total: 12035
    End Report

    Cheers,
    Ron…

    Tobias

I was receiving statistics report by email daily, about visitors and page hits on my website. Then the statistics email stopped being sent. I went to the notifications tab on the Settings Page, removed my email address, updated the page, added my email address back and updated the page, the statistics email was still not being sent. I then added a different email address, removing my original email address and the statistics email were sent to the new email address. I then reentered my original email address along with the new email address; I did not receive the statistics email report on my original email address but continue to receive the statistics email on my secondary email address.

How can I get WP Statistics to send the statistics email report to my original email address?

    Thank you,

    Geoff

    Hello, Geoff,

Unfortunately I can’t help you with this problem, because I’m only a “user” and not a “programmer” of this plugin.

As you can see, the support from the programmers is simply not available here. I also don’t know how to get the attention of the responsible people in another way. There is only hope and waiting!

    Greetings Tobias

    Tobias,

Thank you for replying to my issue.

    Regards,

    Geoff
