We are very interested in your tool, but we have a need for a solution that has total compatibility with other WooCommerce plugins that may influence stock management.

    1. Does ATUM create any custom post types or novel database fields to track stock that would leave an inaccurate stock count when disabling the plugin?
    2. Is any ATUM information stored in orders (or AS orders) in the database?
    3. How about if we use the Stock Logs add-on?

I’m hopeful this question will be valuable to any others considering this plugin for highly customized WC shops. Thanks for your time!

    Hi @digiac0m,

Thanks for your post, I’m gonna try to answer your questions.

Does ATUM create any custom post types or novel database fields to track stock that would leave an inaccurate stock count when disabling the plugin?

ATUM free doesn’t use any new fields to track stock, it always uses WooCommerce fields. However, if you’re thinking of using Product Levels and/or Multi Inventory add-ons, these ones do use custom fields and functions to track the stock. Please, for further information, open a thread in our Forum (note that you only can ask in this forum about ATUM free due to the WordPress Forum policies).

Is any ATUM information stored in orders (or AS orders) in the database?

We’ve created new custom post types (and tables for the order items) for our Inventory Logs and Purchase Orders, so no, it doesn’t.

How about if we use the Stock Logs add-on

The Stock Logs add-on is not yet available. Anyway, I refer to my number one section answer about asking about these topics in our forum.

    Hope this helps,
    José Andrés

Thank you José, extremley helpful! Looking very forward to piloting this plugin after hearing that the basic/free product uses standard WooCommerce fields.
