Questions about Domains & Hosting

  • Hello everyone!

    I am new to WorldPress and have a couple of questions I would appreciate your help with!

    I am in the process of building my website which will be for my own business and I want to offer my services to multiple countries (mainly US, Switzerland and Germany). What is the best practice when it comes to domains? Should I buy three different domains with the the same company name but different country endings, meaning .com, .ch and .de ? Obviously I will also have to make sure my site is accessible in different languages. The US site would be in English and the Swiss and German one in German. Or should I only buy the .com domain but have the website in different languages available?

    Lastly, I am located in Europe currently. With knowing that I will have clients from different countries, does it matter from which country I buy the hosting? Like, there are German, Swiss and obviously lots of US providers that offer hosting packages. So I am not sure from which country I should get the hosting and whether that is important.
