Questions about Ameilia functionality?

    Hello. I’m new to WordPress and I need a plugin to schedule one on one training sessions between my students and their teachers. This is how I want it to work:

    Each student updates their availability by posting what days and time blocks they are available. For example, student A is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 am till 3pm. Student B is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am till 6 pm.

    Once the students post their availability, the teachers see whose availability matches their own and books training sessions with each student. Using the example students listed above, one teacher would book a training session with Student A from 11 am till noon on Wednesday, and a session with Student B on Thursday from 5 pm till 6pm.

    I have approximately 15 students and 5 teachers, so it’s ok if students’ schedules overlap. It wouldn’t be “double booking” because it’s up to the teachers to pick the students and specific 1 hour time slots they want to work with the student, so the teachers control who gets an appointment and when.

    I would like it if the confirmed training appointments would be displayed on a web page all my students and teachers can see what appointments have been booked. However this function is not required.

    We are a hobby related website and we don’t sell anything and nobody gets paid, so I’d prefer a free or inexpensive option. Can the free or personal versions of Booking Calendar do all of the above?

    Can Amelia do the things I listed above, and if so would it be free or would there be a cost involved?

    Free version of Amelia plugin wouldn’t be suitable for your specific use case since you wouldn’t be able to setup separate schedule for each student.     Thanks for the response. I tried usimng the pre-purchase support area but it wanted info I couldn’t provide, such as purchase # or something like that. I’m investigating a couple of other options, but a paid version of Amelia is still possible. Is there a sales department email I can contact?

    Hi,

    Yes, you can contact us also on [email protected]. Also, pre-purchase questions section doesn’t require a purchase code, other sections do, so please try once again and make sure that you select pre-purchase questions section in the dropdown while submitting a ticket. In that way required field for entering the purchase code will be removed.
