    Hi EveryOne,

I am very impressed with all the reviews.
I need your help understanding the following before I buy the membership:

    1. Can I create groups of similar sites i.e. Group1 will have news sites, Group2 will have blog sites, etc. and then manage those groups individually or together as needed?

    2. If I use this MainWP plugin to manage all sites, that mean all sites except one site will be child sites. Does that mean all child sites will be basically sub-domains of main site? If that is the case, then if I ever decide to sell one site of one group of sites “will it be possible to do so?” Wondering how can child sites be separated quickly and sold individually.

    3. Is there a step-by-step instruction on creating your first site, then then how to duplicate/replicate the process to create other similar sites and group of sites etc?

    4. Does it work on WP multi-site?

    5. Does it work on WP BuddyPress?

    6. Will VPS hosting be enough?

Thank you very much for your help.

    Regards,

    Simple-Man

@simple-man, thank you very much for your review.

I will give my best to help you with your answers.

    1. Yes, the MainWP plugin allows you to organize your sites in groups. More about this, you can see in this help document: https://mainwp.com/help/docs/manage-child-sites/manage-child-site-groups/

    2. If you connect all your websites to your MainWP Dashboard, that doesn’t mean that your sites will be subdomains of your main site. Your sites will still be independent WordPress sites, you will just be able to manage them from your MainWP Dashboard.

    3. Here you can find our documentation that will help you get started with MainWP: https://mainwp.com/help/category/getting-started/first-steps-with-mainwp/

    4. MainWP is not designed for WordPress Multi-site setups.

    5. We don’t have any negative feedback about MainWP & BuddyPress.

    6. VSP hosting should be sufficient, however, please be sure to check MainWP System Requirements here: https://mainwp.com/help/docs/mainwp-introduction/system-requirements/

If you have additional questions, please reach us on MainWP Support portal here: https://mainwp.com/support/

    Thanks,
    Best Regards,
    Bogdan R.

    Hello Bogdan,

Thank you very much for your response.

I think it will be a great fit for our use.

I see that you can set user roles such as admin, author, editor, etc using MainWP.

The following may not be related to MainWP functionality but can I do the following:

    1. Set limits on roles? For example, can I set limit on number of posts an author is allowed daily, weekly, monthly etc?

    2. Can I charge “authors” or site users/visitors for access to post on our site?
For example, others can post articles/posts as per the set limit on any site and they will pay for posting on our site? Not for reading content, but paying for posting content (articles or posts etc)?

If not, is there any other plugin that can do this?

    Regards.
