• Do Cloudflare images leverage the full network, or is it limited to pro and free, not having access to all pops and priority?

    The advantage I see other CDNs having is their cache hit ratio. Cloudflare will evict infrequently accessed files pretty quickly, but something like BunnyCDN’s Edge Storage add-on will keep those files close to your users.

    Not sure how cloudflare images storing as well not only deliver? And bucket can be utilized for the same success?

    from what I understand it usage r2 indented for storage and closer to the user and work like bunny’s perma-cache but only for media files.

    Pricing from Cloudflare doesn’t make sense or maybe targeting enterprise here, to pay per view even if it’s delivered from cache? Or am I missing something?

    @alriksson,

    Yeah, the pricing is weird, many have complained that it’s not competitive. Especially, considering this:

    Cloudflare will evict infrequently accessed files pretty quickly

    I already have a Bunny CDN integration in the plugin. I am testing if I can use Bunny CDN as an additional layer on top of Cloudflare Images, which would keep all optimization and resizing, but at the same time have a decent cache without the short expiry.

    Best regards,
    Anton
