Question woocommerce emails and checkout

  • I would like to change some font sizes and styles in the emails, do you think this is better done through a function or by copying the email-style.php that Woocommerce has provided into a child theme and adding it there?
    Also, I would like to add some text to the thankyou page(order-received). Is there a function for this or would I again copy the thankyou.php?

  • Hey,
    For both I suggest using a child theme and editing the templates. It’s possible woocommerce has a plugins or some specific hooks for this but you would need to ask woocommerce support about that.

    Great, so you think there is no difference between loading the extra child theme files vs loading the child theme functions?
