Question SMTP Contact form/Woocommerce

    Hi,
    I need to use SMTP for all my emails but so far all the plugins I found let you only use one email address. When using Woocommerce and the Virtue contact form, you need at least two addresses though… do you have any recommendations?

  • I would suggest using this plugin for your contact form.

    It works well with the theme and according to some other forum posts I found, you can add multiple email addresses to it by separating them with commas.

    Thank you Kevin, but the reason I need to use SMTP is because I need SSL or TLS encrypted emails, and the default WP emails are PHP…

    Well that’s my question…all the SMTP plugins only let you set ONE email address, but I need one for the contact form and one for Woocommerce orders.

    I confused as to why you would need your site to have two different email servers? But regardless I’m not aware of any plugin or anyone that is doing that so I can’t really suggest a solution. I’m sure if you dug into the coding you could come up with some way to do this.

    Because the email address from the contact form is contact@…whereas the email address for Woocoomerce orders is orders@…

    Hey, you can separately set a reply email and once you have the server set up you can define a from alias email.

    Hey, sorry, I don’t understand – in the plugin settings you can only define ONE email address and ONE name ?

    Correct, but in your contact form you can define it differently so it’s sent as a alias. Or want I would suggest is to just define a reply address.
