Question regarding the process

    We are looking for a workflow solution that can handle the following:

    1) a user can come online and submit an order to request a very short infomercial.

    2) when submitting the order, the user will choose an agent to work with.

    3) Once the user submits the order and pay a certain amount so that the order will be routed to the chosen agent.

    4) The chosen agent will review the order and develop a storyline working with the user. When the agent is complete with the work, the agent collects the payment, the order will then be forwarded to the video team to complete the production.

    5) As the video is finalized, it will be posted on the YouTube or Vimeo for review. The user can request to download a clean copy of the video.

    Based on the use case above,

    1) Can OASIS handle the flow? I assume so.

    2) we would like the user who places the order be able to track the order status, and work with the agent and the video team to review and revise the video ordered.

    In this case, do we need to add an eCommerce plugin like WooCommerce? If an ecommerce solution is required, what else do you recommend?

    3) How about payment processing and payment gateway? What should we use there? Or if this works with an eCommerce solution, just use the eCommerce solution.

    Hi Jing,

    Sorry for a late reply.

    Thanks for explaining your requirements in detail.

    (1), (2) and (3) – can essentially be done via some forms plugin, like WP Forms.

    (4) – This is where you can use Oasis Workflow, to work on the storyline and develop the content. However, the payment processing has to be done using either Woocommerce or Easy Digital Downloads.

    In regards to the theme, I wouldn’t be able to suggest a specific one.
