Question regarding Sans Pro and Roboto and Roboto Slan

    Hi Daan @daanvandenbergh.
    Congratulations to the newborn.

    After autodetecting I get a list of Source Sans Pro, Roboto and Roboto Slab. I marked those for preload, downloaded the fonts an generated stylesheet.

    In Autoptimize I set “remove Google fonts”.

    Question 1: Was I supposed to download all those Source Sans Pro, Roboto and Roboto Slav fonts?
    Question 2: Pagespeed says “Ensure text remains visible during webfont load” and mention two font-awesome

    Can your plugin handle the issue with those font-awesome?

    Thank you! ??

    First off, you shouldn’t preload all fonts. Only the ones above the fold.

    Answer to #1: Probably, yes. For a bit of extra performance, you can easily remove the italic variants.
    Answer to #2: No, OMGF only handles Google Fonts. Although I’m looking into ways to handle this error for all font types.
