Question Regarding Litespeed Plugin

    I have couple of questions regarding this plugin.

    1. There is option to enable Lightspeed Cache for my wordpress installation on cpanel of my host. Should I enable Litespeed from the cpanel or install the plugin on wordpress?

    2. I am already using w3 total cache and Cloudflare. Should I uninstall them if using Lightspeed Cache?

    Hi,

    1) it doesn’t make any difference , but cPanel one might be older version , so directly install it via wp-admin would be better

    2) yes, please disable/uninstall W3TC , CloudFlare is OK

    Thanks for the reply. Just wanted to know that how long should I wait after installing this plugin to check site performance on pingdom tools and gtmatrix.

    Also if my host is using lightspeed web server, do I need to enable some setting etc to make sure that plugin is able to take advantage of it. And is there anything I need to go from cpanel side as well?

    Hi,

    the effect should be immediate

    but default setting is bit of “conversative” , many options/features are default OFF

    no , if your provider uses LSWS, nothing special needs to be done on cPanel

    you just need to configure/tune the plugin setting
