Question regarding conversion

  • Hello,

    Does it convert and serve files on the fly or it does create webp version of original images in the media library without deleting them?

    In my case, since webp support is introduced in the latest WordPress update, I want to replace all my png and jpgs with webp, is that what this plugin does?

    Hello @belgen,

    Thanks for your message.

    The plugin creates equivalents of the original images in WebP format and displays them instead of the original images. Does not delete original images.
