Question regarding 300 item limit

    Thanks for the plugin. It’s working well for me.

    I have searched both www.remarpro.com and google without finding a satisfactory answer. In the Podcast Settings for Channel, it seems that regardless of my default site episode settings, PowerPress will limit my feed length to 300 items to accommodate iTunes. Is my understanding correct, and if so how can I remove this limit?

    I do not use iTunes and I am aware that large feeds are slow to load, potentially unresponsive, won’t work in other aggregators, etcetera. I want to do it anyway. Unfortunately I am not code savvy and have not been able to find this limit in the plugin code to edit it.

    It is possible to set the number of displayed items in the feed to whatever you want. Have you tried setting it over 300 to see if the channel feed will display more than 300 items?

    I have set it to more than 300, and the number I enter seems to be saved. I assumed that maximum: 300 in the show most recent episodes was hard coded. Thanks for clarifying. I’ll certainly post back if I run into a problem.
